DESCRIPTION:The Beds & Herts Historic Churches Trust raises funds via this annual event\, and distributes grants to churches for restoration work.  Over the last 15 years\, Hinxworth\, Caldecote and Ashwell churches have all benefitted from these grants.  St Nicholas’ Hinxworth was granted £10\,000 recently\, and it is likely that St Mary’s Ashwell will apply for further grant aid to help with re-roofing both Aisles in the near future. \nTake a look at this BHHCT poster 2023 and do take part. \nOn the day Guy will be leading some cyclists out\, and Chris hopes to organise a walk around part of the Benefice.

This text has resonance for private and public lives\, as well as for church and civic policy. \nSt Mary’s is excited to be joined Pádraig Ó Tuama\, poet and theologian and former leader of Corrymeela (Ireland’s oldest peace and reconciliation centre) as he discusses the Book of Ruth and its themes of resonance for today.
