Thank you for visiting our Giving page. St Mary’s is a calm and peaceful place in the centre of our village, where many people can find rest from the busy world. Here many feel close to the Lord our God. As a church we continue to pray for the wider community. Our first call is always on God to provide and we are so grateful for the financial generosity of many individuals through whom he works.

St Mary's needs some £2500 a week to sustain its ministry of worship, witness, service and mission.  St. Mary's is funded almost exclusively by donations from our congregation.  We do not receive grants from the government, the diocese or the rest of the Church of England, or from other charities, other than to fund significant restoration and conservation work.

If you would like to make a financial gift towards the ministry and mission of St Mary’s Church (charity no. 1134776) we would be very grateful. Your gift will help to ensure that we can continue to provide help for anyone who needs us, develop our work with children and young families, the elderly and vulnerable and continue to maintain the fabric of our grade 1 listed church building.

If you would like to make a donation click here. Many thanks for your offering, it is gratefully appreciated.

Remembering St Mary's in your will

Please also consider leaving a bequest to St Mary's in your will.  St Mary's has been blessed to receive legacies in the past which have funded major projects we would not otherwise have been able to afford. This is one way to help ensure the future of our church for the next generation and can lead to a reduced inheritance tax liability. Further details can be obtained from the Treasurer.
