St Mary's Ashwell

Plan your visit

St Mary’s church is worth a visit for a number of reasons.  First and foremost it is a spiritual place.  It is also a place full of history, has amazing architecture, and it is a place of solace and peace.

The church is open daily from 8:30 am until 4pm (winter) and 5pm (summer).  You can find us here and there is usually parking available in the surrounding streets.  Accessibility information is available here.

Our church is dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary and was built during the 14th century.  After St Alban’s cathedral, it has the tallest spire in Hertfordshire.  For a brief guide to the church, please click here.
