The Beds & Herts Historic Churches Trust raises funds via this annual event, and distributes grants to churches for restoration work.  Over the last 15 years, Hinxworth, Caldecote and Ashwell churches have all benefitted from these grants.  St Nicholas’ Hinxworth was granted £10,000 recently, and it is likely that St Mary’s Ashwell will apply for further grant aid to help with re-roofing both Aisles in the near future.
