Post Office in the Parish Church Room

When the Post Office in the High Street closed in 2015 the church was approached by the Parish Council and Post Office Ltd to see if we would be prepared to accommodate a mobile Post Office service in the Parish Church Room (PCR) – this being a central location accessible by all. The church readily agreed to this request as a service to the village community.

Current opening times are Mondays 11.45 - 14.45 and Wednesdays 11.45 - 14.45. The entrance is in Alms Lane opposite the entrance to the museum.

The service is well used. It is made possible by the generosity of the parishioners of St Mary’s Church with the support of Ashwell Parish Council.
